Godalming College Careers Fair

There was a lively buzz at the College today for our annual Careers Fair. This is an exciting event on the academic calendar and a wonderful opportunity for young people to explore their next steps and talk about their aspirations.  Over 30+ exhibitors were set up bright and early in the main hall, representing an array of industries, from childcare to veterinary work, careers in the armed forces, hospitality, aviation and much more.

Year 10 students from the Waverley Federation schools; Broadwater, Rodborough, Glebelands and Woolmer Hill visited us throughout the morning, keeping our exhibitors busy with plenty of questions and conversations. Once the final coaches pulled away, it was time for our own Godalming College students to explore the stands and talk about their future paths and career preferences.

We’re extremely grateful to all the volunteers today who invested their time and efforts in talking to hundreds of students throughout the morning.
